Chad Meissner

I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and lived in Central and South Florida for 25 years before making my move out west to Salt Lake City, UT. I received my master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Utah and landed a job with one of the city’s most reputable architecture firms, Lloyd Architects. It was there that I gained the knowledge and love for small-scale projects where I could interact very closely and personally with clients.

Work and education were not the only reasons I moved to Utah. I find an extreme amount of joy and fun in the mountains and all they have to offer. From winter to summer, there are no seasonal sports I do not enjoy. I spend a lot of time in the mountains, and derive a lot of inspiration from nature. I believe that if we can capture a little bit of the beauty of natural outdoor spaces, our built spaces can be a lot more special.
